Lynette Pugh is passionate about improving services for older people and people living with disability in South Australia and has 37 years of experience in health and community health settings. She has held leadership roles in a range of aged care and community care services with experience in community engagement, community grants and clinical governance frameworks.
Lynette has qualifications in nursing, social work and public sector health management. She has experience in leading allied health, multi disciplinary services, and has a strong commitment to promoting socially inclusive programs and working to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable population groups. Promotion of ‘in home’ support models of service delivery is a key interest.
With extensive networks within the State public sector in the areas of aged and community care, Lynette has represented government agencies on national working groups relevant to these areas.
She has experience in funding, contracting and tendering processes associated with the aged and community care sector, at both the State and National levels.
