Don Frater

Don has worked across government and the NGO sector for the past 30 years. An accountant by profession Don was worked in economic development in Northern NSW and headed up State Development in South Australia.

In 2008 he was appointed as Chief of Staff to Senator Penny Wong during the debate on the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme and national legislation on water. Don has represented South Australia in redrafting the Murray Darling Basin Agreement and worked for Primary Industries and Regions SA. He now works in SA Health as Deputy Chief Executive.
